Employer-funded supplementary health insurance

Summary

The tender covers an employer-funded group supplementary health insurance scheme for the permanent salaried employees of Zweckverband Bergerlebnis Berchtesgaden. The insurance is to start on 1 January 2027 and currently covers approximately 176 employees. The required cover includes, among other things, enrolment without medical underwriting, cover for pre-existing conditions and planned treatment, dental prostheses and implants reimbursed at 60% over four calendar years, visual aids reimbursed at 100% up to EUR 305 within three calendar years, and alternative treatment reimbursed at 80% up to EUR 1,500 per year. The insurer must provide a free online platform, German-language support, at least two employee information sessions and an option to continue the insurance privately after employment ends. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 8 October 2026 at 11:00. Price accounts for 60% and service quality for 40% of the evaluation.
