Renewal of switches W807 and W808 and crossing Kr804: track and civil engineering works

Summary

The project covers the renewal of switches W807 and W808 and crossing Kr804, together with 25 metres of track between Ludwigshafen Hauptbahnhof and Bürgermeister-Kutterer-Straße stations. The works take place in a tunnel and include removing the existing track structures, installing new ballasted track with concrete sleepers, track alignment and tamping, and traffic-safety measures. Track materials are supplied by the contracting authority; their manufacture and delivery are not part of this procurement.
