Specialist psychiatric treatment and care for prisoners at Weiterstadt prison

Summary

The contract covers specialist psychiatric treatment and care for prisoners at Weiterstadt prison. On-site services are provided Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, normally from 8:00 to 12:00 and, after the service is extended, from 8:00 to 14:00. The workload is 20 hours per week before expansion and 30 hours afterwards; the calculated volume over four years is 4,160 and 6,240 physician hours respectively. On-call availability is also required Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 17:00, changing to 14:00–17:00 after expansion. The calculated four-year on-call volume is 5,200 or 3,120 hours respectively. Treatment actually provided during on-call periods is paid at the treatment hourly rate; availability itself is paid as a fixed fee. The tenderer must quote a net price per physician hour and a net price per hour of on-call availability. The prices must include all incidental costs, including travel. Price carries 100% of the evaluation weighting, and alternative bids are not permitted. The bid must be submitted in German using the required forms. The tenderer must undertake to comply with applicable pay and minimum-wage requirements and ensure that subcontractors and temporary-work providers comply as well.
