Express rail passenger services in East Bavaria

Summary

The tender concerns the provision of rail passenger transport services in East Bavaria on the RE 2 line München Hbf – Landshut Hbf – Regensburg Hbf – Schwandorf – Weiden – Marktredwitz – Hof Hbf. The line is planned to cover approximately 2.17 million train-kilometers per year. The objective is to select a bidder to operate regional rail passenger services for 15 years from 10 December 2028 to 12 December 2043.
