Enterprise virtualisation platform

Summary

The City of Falkensee is procuring the provision, installation, integration, commissioning, functional verification, migration, maintenance and support of a product-neutral enterprise virtualisation platform for its data centre. The platform and associated licences are sized for 26 physical hosts across nine locations, with 36 CPU sockets and 1,224 cores, and the project includes migration of 150 existing virtual machines, administrator training and operational, installation and migration documentation. Hardware, storage and network infrastructure, and a new Veeam base licence are procured separately. The initial service term is 36 months, with an optional 24-month extension.
