Cable works for the electronic interlocking, construction of Track 5 with overhead lines, and track and switch renewal in Schönefeld

Summary

The Schönefeld 2027/28 railway works comprise three lots: track construction and cable civil engineering; equipment for the electronic interlocking and Track 5; and overhead contact line works. The project includes a new electronic interlocking, reactivation of Track 5 with 740 m usable length and four new switches, and renewal at Schönefeld station of eight switches and approximately 2.5 km of track. ETCS equipment is not part of the works.
