Concession for urban and interurban bus services in Thessaly

Summary

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is procuring the exclusive right to operate regular public passenger bus services in the Thessaly region under a public service concession. Lot 1 covers interurban routes and Lot 2 covers urban routes; the service also includes the carriage of accompanied or unaccompanied parcels weighing more than 10 kg. Each lot runs for 10 years, with a possible extension of up to five years. The estimated base value is €449 million excluding VAT, and may increase to €673.5 million excluding VAT if the option is exercised.
