Supply of 79 New 36-Metre Trams for Bucharest

Summary

The Municipality of Bucharest is procuring 79 new 36-metre trams for urban passenger transport, for projects to modernise the city’s tramway public transport system and extend the tram network along Prelungirea Ghencea. The trams must have onboard autonomy, a fully low floor, a wheelchair ramp, passenger-compartment air conditioning and equipment for passenger comfort and information. Delivery, testing and acceptance activities are covered by a 30-month contract.
