Income loss insurance for mortgage borrowers

Summary

The Walloon Public Service is procuring insurance for mortgage borrowers against loss of income caused by involuntary unemployment or incapacity for work, under the Walloon Government decree of 21 February 2019. The contract is planned for one year from 1 March 2027, with up to three one-year renewals. The insurer must provide relevant statistics annually or upon the contracting authority’s first request.
