AZ Sint-Elisabeth Zottegem is procuring, in one lot, a hematology platform for its clinical laboratory, including delivery and installation. The platform comprises two hematology analyzers for whole-blood analysis, at least one of which must count reticulocytes and body fluids, an automated blood-smear maker and stainer connected to at least one analyzer, and a digital microscope for morphological assessment of blood smears. Indicative annual volumes are 56,000 complete blood counts, 48,300 differential counts, 2,430 reticulocyte counts and 405 body-fluid analyses; approximately 10–29 blood smears are examined per day.
