Mažeikiai District Municipality is procuring regular local bus passenger transport on urban and suburban routes in three lots: small-capacity buses (estimated 219,600 route-km), medium-capacity buses (435,000 route-km), and large-capacity buses (96,000 route-km). The estimates cover 36 months; services are scheduled to start on 1 February 2027, for an initial 24-month period with one possible 12-month extension, up to 36 months in total.
