Schools Energy Pathfinder 2025 – Biomass Programme, Package 1

Summary

Mayo Sligo and Leitrim ETB is procuring a biomass energy package for six schools: four in County Mayo and two in County Roscommon. The scope includes supplying, delivering, installing and commissioning modular containerised biomass cabins, followed by the supply and delivery of wood pellets and the sale of heat, with operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of cabin equipment for 15 years. The estimated contract value is EUR 4.55 million; the biomass heating installation will be carried out by a separately appointed contractor.
