Specialised nutritional formulas reimbursed by the Rare Diseases Fund

Summary

Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics is procuring specialised medical nutrition products in five lots for patients with rare diseases. The preliminary quantities are 3,600 sachets of a lysine-free, low-tryptophan formula; 240 and 200 bottles of ketogenic-diet products in 3:1 and 4:1 ratios; 1,200 sachets of modified cornstarch; and 62 sachets of an amino-acid-based, lysine-free formula for children aged one year and older. Deliveries are planned over 24 months, with a possible 12-month extension if the contract value has not been exhausted.
