Framework agreement for the purchase of up to 140 battery-powered trolleybuses II

Summary

Prague’s public transport operator is procuring a five-year framework agreement for up to 140 battery-powered trolleybuses: up to 60 standard low-floor vehicles and 80 articulated low-floor vehicles, equipped with passenger information and fare collection systems and energy management systems. The agreement also covers inspections, warranty and other maintenance and repairs, support and development of the onboard systems, spare parts and a consignment stock. Further possible supplies include up to 35 diagnostic hardware and software kits, 6 portable chargers and replacement traction batteries for the vehicles, including battery replacement and take-back of batteries no longer usable. The framework agreement has a maximum value of CZK 2.64 billion.
