Development of Thor Central through a public-private partnership

Summary

The City of Genk and AGB Genk are seeking public and/or private partners for a public-private partnership to invest in and develop Thor Central, the main building at Thor Park, and its existing activity cluster. The development is to include overnight accommodation through a quality hotel function and/or other public functions, with particular attention to the historic left wing. New construction may be considered where it adds substantial value and supports the project’s economic viability, including investment in the existing heritage building.
