R2 Šaca–Košické Oľšany Road, Section I – Construction Works

Summary

Slovakia’s National Motorway Company is procuring construction of Section I of the R2 road between Šaca and Košické Oľšany as a single lot, with an estimated value of EUR 162,524,578 and a planned duration of 1,460 days. The project will create a south-eastern bypass of Košice, with new connections to the existing road network, to divert through traffic and improve traffic flow and safety. Works are located in the cadastral areas of Šaca, Železiarne, Haniska and Sokoľany.
