Valaliky traction substation

Summary

Slovak Railways is procuring the design and construction of a traction substation in Valaliky, including design documentation, permitting and other engineering services, land-rights settlement, construction, as-built documentation and an assessment under the TSI Energy requirements. The project is intended to improve traction power supply on the Čaňa–Barca railway section and serve the new electrified railway yard and siding in the Valaliky strategic area. The single-lot contract has an estimated value of €8,308,573.61 and a planned duration of 760 days.
