Railway winter data reporting

Summary

The Swedish Transport Administration is procuring a multi-year service to compile annual data on the frequency of snow-, wind- and temperature-related events along railway lines, using data from the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute’s weather stations. The service includes approximately 30 reports on the previous winter period, delivered in early May, and 4–6 statistical reports to support the preparation of new basic railway maintenance contracts. The estimated total contract value is SEK 800,000, or approximately SEK 200,000 per year.
