Line 1 Luxembourg–Troisvierges: Track renewal between Mersch and Cruchten

Summary

Luxembourg’s national railway company is procuring renewal of approximately 8.7 km of both main tracks between Mersch and Cruchten on Line 1 Luxembourg–Troisvierges. The works include installing B 70 W concrete sleepers and UIC 60 rails, as well as partially replacing and cleaning the ballast. The main works will take place during a full railway closure from 22 March to 12 April 2027 at 01:00; preparatory work may begin two weeks earlier, and finishing work must be completed by the end of April 2027.
