Grand Canal Greenway Phase 2
Summary
Kildare County Council is procuring Package 1 of Phase 2 of the Grand Canal Greenway: a 7 km section between Lock 20 and the Shee Bridge Boardwalk, including the ST02 pedestrian bridge at Lock 18. The works include widening and resurfacing the existing trail, constructing the new pedestrian bridge, and improving road junctions and existing underbridge crossings, alongside ancillary works. The estimated contract value is €5.5 million.
