Waste management and container rental

Summary

The University of Southern Denmark is procuring waste management services at all its locations, including the rental of containers and other necessary equipment. The procurement is divided into two lots: (1) collection, handling and disposal of ordinary waste; and (2) collection, handling and treatment of hazardous waste, including classification, packaging, marking or declaration, and preparation for transport. The services must include collecting and reporting data on waste quantities and types to help optimise container capacity, collection frequency and logistics, and reduce unnecessary transport and failed collections. The estimated total value is DKK 21.6 million. The contracts are scheduled to start on 1 July 2027 and run for 8 years. This is a restricted procedure. Requests to participate must be submitted electronically by 12:00 on 9 November 2026. The contracting authority will invite five applicants to tender. Applicants may apply for and be awarded both lots. The award criteria are quality (60%) and price (40%).
