Periodic repairs and refurbishment of passenger coaches

Summary

The procurement covers planned periodic RP repairs to series 2068 passenger coaches: re-tyring the wheels of mounted wheelsets, renewing corrosion protection, applying a complete polyurethane paint system, and repairing, refurbishing or replacing subassemblies and parts found necessary during the repair process. The work is to be performed at the service provider’s premises. A 23-month framework agreement will be concluded with one contractor, with a maximum value of RON 38,130,936.69. Price accounts for 90% of the evaluation and warranty period for 10%; the tender and bid guarantee must remain valid for three months. A bid guarantee of RON 78,255 is required, and the successful bidder must provide a guarantee equal to 5% of the value, excluding VAT, of each subsequent contract. Bidders must meet registration, repair-capability and quality-management requirements and submit the required declarations and evidence.
