Construction of a natural gas distribution network in three communes in Călărași County

Summary

The procurement covers construction of a natural gas distribution network in the communes of Mânăstirea, Chiselet and Spanțov in Călărași County. The works include approximately 37,320 metres of new distribution network, a connection pipeline to the existing system, and a gas pressure-regulating, metering and delivery station. The contractor must carry out the required inspections and tests, complete acceptance procedures and commission the system. Works will also take place in the city of Oltenița and the commune of Ulmeni. The project aims to provide access to the gas network for approximately 988 households. Design services are not part of the contract. The works must be completed within a maximum of 36 months from the start order, followed by a 36-month defects-liability period from commissioning. The estimated contract value is RON 29,264,199.92 excluding VAT. Tenders will be evaluated on the best price-quality ratio: price 65%, work schedule and resources 15%, additional environmental measures 10%, quality-management methodology 5%, and project manager’s professional experience 5%. Participation requires, among other things, evidence of the specified similar-work experience and ensuring that regulated gas works are performed by an appropriately authorised operator.
