Supply and installation of scientific equipment for a metal structures laboratory

Summary

The tender covers the supply and installation of scientific equipment for the Laboratory of Metal Structures in the Department of Civil Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It is divided into six lots: (1) servo-hydraulic load-control systems and related equipment; (2) a 100 kN universal electromechanical testing machine; (3) a portable uniaxial seismic testing table; (4) a digital image correlation and test-results analysis system; (5) a testing installation for windows, doors, gates and glazed facades; and (6) a metal support frame for servo-hydraulic actuators. Bids may cover one or more lots, but must include all items in each lot selected. The total estimated value is EUR 796,306.05 excluding VAT. The contract period is 10 months for Lot 1, 8 months for Lots 2, 3, 4 and 6, and 20 months for Lot 5. The equipment must be installed, and the university’s staff must be trained to use it where required. Bids must be submitted electronically by 30 November 2026 at 23:59. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the best price-quality ratio: technical specifications and any over-fulfilment account for 70%, the warranty period for 15%, and after-sales service, technical support and spare-parts availability for 15%. Bidders are subject to requirements concerning relevant business registration, turnover, bank evidence, previous deliveries, training capacity and ISO 9001:2015.
