Municipal waste collection and sorted waste management in Žamberk

Summary

The city of Žamberk is procuring municipal waste collection and handling services in two lots. Lot A covers regular collection and transport of mixed municipal waste: every two weeks from detached houses, weekly from apartment buildings, and monthly in designated areas from plastic bags. Lot B covers the collection, transport and sorting of paper and cardboard, glass, plastics, metals, and beverage and composite packaging, followed by delivery for recovery or processing. The contractor must maintain the required records and provide evidence of waste handover. Lot B also includes quarterly reports and cooperation with container inventories, inspections and public information activities promoting waste sorting. Bidders may submit an offer for either or both lots, and may be awarded both. The estimated value is CZK 3,107,016 for Lot A and CZK 2,234,036 for Lot B, or CZK 5,341,052 in total. Price is the sole award criterion for both lots, and no tender guarantee is required. Offers must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 2 November 2026. Lot A is scheduled from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028; Lot B from 1 June 2027 to 31 December 2028.
