Single-use medical devices and long-term haemodialysis catheters
Summary
The procurement covers single-use medical devices for haemodialysis in two lots: 60 long-term, tunnelled, double-lumen central venous catheters for retrograde insertion, and 180 long-term tunnelled haemodialysis catheters made with antithrombogenic or equivalent material, supplied with insertion kits. The first lot’s catheter must support blood flow above 500 ml/min at pump pressure below 250 mmHg and meet the technical requirements for materials, dimensions, flow, recirculation, lengths and kit contents. The second lot’s catheters must meet the specified requirements, including dimensions, lengths, flow rate, recirculation and sterile kit contents. Tenderers may bid for one or both lots, and an offer must cover the full quantity and all technical requirements for each lot offered. Price is the only award criterion. Tenderers must submit the completed offer form, a European Single Procurement Document, a declaration of compliance with the applicable Regulation, and manufacturer documentation proving that the proposed products meet every technical requirement. Deliveries will be made against orders and are due within 5 working days of an order. If secondary packaging is used, evidence of its recyclability must be provided.
