Cleaning and restoring the flow capacity of the Byala River in Razlog
Summary
The contract is for cleaning and restoring the flow capacity of the Byala River in Razlog, along an approximately 1,500-metre section without a concrete channel. The work includes preparation; removal of shrubs and trees; collection and sorting of branches; tree-crown pruning; removal of small vegetation, mud, sediment and mixed household waste; pumping out water if necessary; and shaping the riverbanks. It also includes activities to inspect, document and accept the completed work. The estimated contract value is EUR 972,698.53 and the planned duration is 90 days. Price is the only award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically by 2 November 2026. Bidders must have total turnover of at least EUR 1,000,000 over the last three completed financial years, relevant completed experience covering at least 1,500 metres during the last three years, and a valid ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality management certificate. No bid guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee equal to 1% of the contract value excluding VAT. Funding has not yet been secured: if funding is unavailable, either party may terminate the contract after three months, and the contract ends automatically if funding is not secured within ten months of signing.
