Transport of assistive devices

Summary

The tender covers transport of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, rollators, electric beds and patient lifts, from the Frederiksberg Municipality Assistive Devices Centre to residents’ homes and, where needed, back to the centre. The work includes delivery, collection and replacement of devices. Some items must be assembled or installed on delivery, and users must receive simple instructions on how to use them. Transport takes place on weekdays between 9:00 and 14:00, mainly within the municipality, although some trips may be to other locations on the island of Zealand. The estimated volume is approximately 3,700 trips per year: lighter devices usually require one person to transport, while heavier devices usually require two. Estimated annual expenditure is about DKK 0.8 million excluding VAT; this is an estimate and is not binding. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, with two possible 12-month extensions at the municipality’s option. The tender must include a price schedule in Danish kroner excluding VAT, covering all costs of performing the contract. Price is the sole award criterion, and the contract will be awarded to the tenderer with the lowest evaluated price. Bidders must meet the minimum average solvency ratio of 20%, provide two qualifying relevant references and hold the required transport permit or equivalent authorisation.
