Pathology whole-slide imaging (WSI) scanners

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of whole-slide imaging (WSI) scanners for pathology, divided into seven categories of need, including high- and medium-capacity scanners and scanners for specialist histology, cytology, frozen sections, and megaslides. The notice also lists scanners for haematology. The estimated total contract value is DKK 95,000,000. For the first six lots, the estimated and maximum quantities are respectively 14/18, 72/94, 18/24, 19/25, 10/13, and 18/24 scanners. The planned contract term is two years, with an extension of up to two years; other Danish regions may also enter into contracts with the successful tenderer. Tenders will be evaluated on price (40%), quality and functionality (35%), IT (10%), service, operational efficiency and energy performance (10%), and hygiene and working environment (5%).
