Maintenance services for the sorting installations at the Port of Antwerp

Summary

The tender concerns maintenance of the railway points and track brakes at the sorting installations in the Port of Antwerp. The work includes lubricating them only while the track is closed to traffic; dirt and old grease must be removed before lubrication, and loose or detached parts must be visually checked during the work and reported to an Infrabel employee. Lubrication must always be carried out by two workers. In addition, as needed, the contractor must provide up to two hydraulic road-rail cranes with operators and one or two qualified workers for work on the track brakes. Infrabel provides the safety arrangements. This is a two-year framework agreement, extendable up to twice; the quantities of work ordered are not guaranteed.
