F5 BIG-IP hardware renewal for load balancing and application firewall functions

Summary

The tender covers the supply, installation and commissioning of two F5 BIG-IP r5600 appliances at two Prague locations to replace end-of-life hardware used for load balancing and application firewall functions. The supply includes optical modules, connection cables and installation accessories. The supplier must also configure the system, migrate the existing configuration, configure high availability, test the solution, provide basic administrator training and prepare as-built documentation. Implementation is estimated at 20 person-days and will be paid only for days actually used. The contract also requires 60 months of 24/7 manufacturer support, next-business-day replacement of defective hardware, and 60 months of licence coverage for the two appliances. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 5 November 2026. Price is the sole award criterion: the lowest total price excluding VAT will be assessed. Bidders must submit the prescribed declaration confirming compliance with responsible-procurement commitments, including fair treatment of subcontractors and fair working conditions.
