Air transport of donor organs and medical teams

Summary

The tender covers the continuous availability of one fixed-wing aircraft for transporting donor organs and/or medical teams, together with on-demand air transport services. The aircraft must be ready to take off within 2 hours of the start time specified in an order. The contractor must provide 24-hour availability for flight arrangements and coordinate with the destination airport. Flights will mainly be between Eurotransplant member states, but may also originate in other European countries. Up to 200 block hours may be ordered during the 12-month term, and the contracting authority commits to calling off at least 70% of that quantity. The contract is for 12 months and may be extended by a further 12 months if funding is available. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically by 2 November 2026 at 09:00 and remain valid for 30 days. No bid guarantee is required. Bidders must demonstrate the required air transport experience and submit the declarations and evidence specified in the procurement documents.
