Design and consultancy services for the expansion of Ring 4 Nord

Summary

The tender is for comprehensive design and consultancy services for the expansion of Ring 4 Nord in Denmark, on the approximately 5 km section between Ballerup Byvej and the Hillerød motorway. The works include an additional lane in each direction, an extra left-turn lane on Ballerup Byvej, noise barriers, a new road access, a new underpass for a shared-use path and a ramp to an existing underpass, a signal-controlled pedestrian crossing, and technical optimisation of traffic signals at the Åvej intersection. The consultancy covers project phases 3–5: preparing the project for review, preparing the construction project, and project follow-up. The estimated contract value is DKK 60 million and the expected duration is six years; the underlying infrastructure project has a budget of approximately DKK 0.9 billion excluding VAT. Tenders will be evaluated on price and quality, taking account of price and project organisation and competence; the tender with the lowest overall evaluation price will win. Tenders must be submitted electronically in Danish. Tenderers must meet the minimum turnover requirement of DKK 50 million and demonstrate experience in seven areas over the past three years, supported by references. The contract includes a labour clause for public contracts.
