Construction of the Small Ice Rink in Olomouc

Summary

The tender covers construction of a new small training ice rink beside the existing main ice rink in Olomouc. The building has a footprint of 3,946.5 m² and a 26 × 60 m ice surface, cooled directly with ammonia. The works include, among other things, piled foundations, the building’s structural frame and façades, roofing and a green roof, a 22 kWp solar power system, a 63-space car park and a pedestrian promenade. Relocation of the neighbouring rink’s cooling channel is being procured separately and must be completed before construction begins. Work is scheduled to start on 3 May 2027 and last 720 days. The estimated contract value is CZK 324,224,290. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 20 October 2026 and remain valid for 150 days. A bid guarantee of CZK 3,000,000 is required, and price is the sole award criterion.
