Routine and winter road maintenance in the Kladno area of the Central Bohemian Region

Summary

The procurement is for an eight-year framework agreement covering routine and winter maintenance of Class II and III roads in the Kladno area of the Central Bohemian Region. The work includes cleaning and repairing roads and their surroundings, milling and repairing potholes, maintaining traffic signs and equipment, maintaining road verges, ditches and bridges, and mowing roadside vegetation. In winter, the contractor must keep roads passable, including by applying grit, removing snow and snowdrifts, and providing inspection patrols, dispatch services and standby coverage. The contractor must supply the resources and equipment needed and provide services in response to the contracting authority’s needs. The estimated total value is CZK 3,198,039,934.45 excluding VAT for the full eight-year term; price is the sole award criterion. Bid unit prices must not exceed the ceilings specified in the tender documents. The deadline for electronic submission is 9 November 2026 at 10:00. Vehicles subject to a minimum emissions-class requirement in the agreement must meet at least EURO V. The contractor and its subcontractors must comply with employment, labour, occupational health and safety, and environmental rules, as well as contractual requirements concerning innovation and subcontractor protection.
