Modernisation of the Liberec tramway around Jánská Street, Rybníček intersection and 1 May Street

Summary

The tender covers construction works to modernise the tramway in Liberec, together with related supplies and services. The works are planned in three stages so that tram services can continue partially during construction. The contracting authority will provide the contractor with the new track structure for the Rybníček intersection. The works also include surveying and setting out, preparation of construction execution documentation, preparation of data for recording the completed works in the digital technical map, and preparation of as-built documentation. The estimated contract value is CZK 289,000,000 and the planned duration is 11 months. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 16 October 2026. No bid guarantee is required, and variant bids are not permitted. Price is the only award criterion. The selected contractor must ensure that all workers are employed lawfully, receive appropriate working conditions, and work safely. The contract is partly funded by the Transport Operational Programme 2021–2027; the contractor must facilitate funding-related checks and retain contract records at least until the end of 2037. Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days and must state the project name and number.
