Supply, installation and operation of charging points for Sønderborg Municipality’s fleet

Summary

Sønderborg Municipality is procuring charging points for its electric vehicle fleet, including delivery, installation, commissioning, and the necessary electrical, excavation and reinstatement works. Phase 1 covers 196 charging points at four locations. The contract also includes operation and maintenance of the charging points and a software solution; the service period is five years, with two possible one-year extensions. The estimated overall contract duration is six years. The municipality may also order additional charging points for three further groups of locations: 32, 26 and 20 points. In addition, it may, if feasible, bring 38 existing ABB charging points under a common operating system and software solution. The municipality will own the charging equipment, pay the grid connection charges, and pay for electricity directly to the electricity supplier. The estimated contract value is DKK 10.5 million. Bidders must meet the minimum financial-capacity and relevant-experience requirements. The award criteria are price (40%), quality and service (40%), and process (20%). Tenders must be submitted electronically; variants and multiple tenders are not permitted.
