Supply of radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT examinations

Summary

The contract covers the supply of the radiopharmaceutical 18F-FDG (fludeoxyglucose) for PET/CT examinations at an oncology hospital in Sofia. Delivery is to the goods lift of the radiochemistry laboratory serving the PET/CT unit in the nuclear medicine clinic. The stated quantities for 24 months are up to 30 multidose packs at 5.0 GBq, 380 at 8.0 GBq, 50 at 10.0 GBq and 30 at 14.0 GBq. The notice also gives a forecast of 735 packs over 36 months. The contract runs for 24 months, with an option for the contracting authority to extend it on the same terms by up to 12 months. The estimated total value is EUR 2,100,000 excluding VAT: EUR 1,400,000 for the initial term and EUR 700,000 for the extension option. Deliveries will follow weekly orders sent at least five days in advance; quantities may be amended or an order cancelled until 16:00 on the preceding day. The usual delivery window is 07:30–08:30. Invoices are payable within 60 days after delivery and submission of the required documents. Price is the only award criterion, and bids must be submitted electronically. To participate, bidders need an authorisation for wholesale trade in medicinal products or an equivalent document, a licence to transport Class 7 radioactive dangerous goods, total turnover of at least EUR 2,100,000 over the last three completed financial years, and a valid ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality management certificate with a relevant scope. The contract performance guarantee is 2% of the contract value excluding VAT.
