Specialty and reference gases

Summary

AB Amber Grid is procuring specialty and reference (calibration) gases over a 36-month period, in two lots. Lot I covers delivery of specialty gases, rental of gas cylinders, and supply of pressure regulators and fittings. Lot II covers delivery of reference gas mixtures. Specialty gases include helium, argon, nitrogen, hydrogen, synthetic air, propane and ethane. Reference mixtures are for measuring water, sulfur compounds, oxygen, gas calorific value, and helium and hydrogen concentrations. Bidders may tender for one, several or both lots; a separate contract will be awarded for each lot. The supplier must deliver gases and mixtures meeting the technical specification, with the required certificates and safety data sheets; provide cylinder rental and collection of empty cylinders; and deliver cylinders to the location specified by the buyer, including safe placement inside the designated building or storage area. For Lot I, delivery is due within 5 working days for helium, nitrogen, argon, synthetic air and hydrogen, and within 60 working days for ethane, propane, regulators and fittings. Lot II delivery is due within 60 calendar days. Estimated quantities are indicative, and the buyer pays for quantities actually ordered. Price is the sole award criterion. Prices must include delivery, unloading, movement into the building, safe placement and collection of empty cylinders. Supplier qualification is not assessed separately, but exclusion grounds are checked. The application must include the completed and signed application form and the European Single Procurement Document; social requirements also apply. The tender must be submitted electronically and remain valid for three months from the submission deadline.
