Periodic Supply of Medical Devices and Consumables for Highly Specialised Examinations and Procedures

Summary

The procurement covers the periodic supply of medical devices and consumables to the Military Medical Academy and its subordinate facilities, divided into six lots. The current procedure covers lots 1–6; bidders may submit an offer for one or more lots, up to all six. The lots include, among other items, absorbable surgical sutures (lot 1, 60,362 units/sets in total), neurointerventional devices for endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms (lot 2, 340 units), consumables for endovascular procedures (lot 3, 849 units), neurovascular stents and thrombectomy and embolisation consumables (lot 4, 84 units), consumables for intravascular interventions (lot 5, 116 units), and ureteral stent sets, catheters and nephrostomy drainage sets (lot 6, 988 units). The technical specification sets out the exact products and required characteristics. The goods must be delivered and unloaded at the buyer’s hospital warehouses in Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Pleven and Sliven. The contract runs for 24 months. If the contract value has not been used during that period, the buyer may extend deliveries by up to six months or until the contract value is reached, whichever occurs first. Price is the only award criterion; offers for each lot are ranked by the lowest total price excluding VAT. Offers must be submitted electronically by 23:59 on 15 October 2026. On signing the contract, the successful bidder must operate an ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management system and provide a performance guarantee equal to 2% of the contract value excluding VAT.
