Framework agreement for supplying food to zoo animals

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of food for the animals at the zoo in Târgu Mureș through four lots, under framework agreements lasting 36 months. The lots cover hay, alfalfa, silage and straw; cereals; species-specific compound feeds and feed supplements; and fresh fruit and vegetables. The feed must be fresh, varied and suited to the animals’ nutritional needs, including food appropriate to the regions of origin of exotic animals. The combined maximum value of the framework agreements is RON 4,421,520.34. Bids may be submitted for all four lots. The lowest price is the sole award criterion, and bids must remain valid for four months. The submission deadline is 7 October 2026 at 15:00. Bidders must demonstrate proper registration and provide the required bid guarantee. The successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee for each subsequent contract equal to 10% of its value excluding VAT.
