Energy-efficiency measures at Charles University dormitories and canteens using EPC

Summary

The tender concerns energy-efficiency improvements at Charles University’s dormitories and canteens using the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) method. The work includes preparatory activities, designing energy-saving measures and handling the requirements for obtaining building permits, implementing the measures, preparing as-built documentation, drafting operating instructions for new equipment and training its operators, as well as long-term energy management and monitoring of savings. The contractor must guarantee achievement of the savings agreed in the contract. The sites are in Prague and Brandýs nad Labem, and the contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is CZK 140,000,000, and the planned period runs from 1 April 2027 to 31 December 2038. The deadline for submitting a request to participate is 4 November 2026 at 11:00; applications must be submitted electronically. Tenders will be assessed on guaranteed cumulative savings over 10 years (35%), tender price (50%), quality and comprehensiveness of the proposed solution (10%), and savings exceeding the minimum required level (5%).
