Collection, treatment and handling of soil

Summary

The tender covers collection, treatment and onward handling of category 2 and out-of-category soil generated by street sweeping and gully emptying on public roads and squares in Viborg Municipality. The contracting authority takes samples, arranges analyses, classifies the soil and loads it onto the supplier’s truck using its own machinery. It may also choose to have the supplier take samples, analyse and classify the soil at the authority’s site. The estimated contract value is DKK 5,900,000 and the planned contract term is eight years. Price is the sole award criterion. The tenderer must have annual turnover of at least DKK 750,000 and positive equity in its most recently completed financial year. It must also provide at least one comparable reference, ongoing or completed within the last three years, demonstrating the treatment and handling of at least 2,000 tonnes of out-of-category soil over a 12-month period; several references may be combined to demonstrate the required volume. Before the contract takes effect, the successful supplier must provide the environmental approval for the receiving facility it will use and meet the contract requirements concerning insurance and a declaration relating to Russia.
