Food supplies for childcare and social care institutions in Silistra Municipality

Summary

Silistra Municipality is procuring periodic food deliveries for its childcare and social care institutions. The procurement is divided into 10 lots: meat and fish products; milk, dairy products and eggs; fresh, canned and frozen fruit, vegetables and spices; packaged goods and spices; bread and bakery products; and organic products in these categories. The specific products and estimated quantities are set out in the technical specifications. Orders will be placed as needs arise, and the municipality is not required to order all estimated quantities. The planned contract period is 24 months from 1 December 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically by 28 October 2026. Price is the sole award criterion: for each lot, the lowest total price excluding VAT for periodic deliveries. Bidders must hold a valid food-business registration covering the relevant product groups, have total turnover of at least EUR 70,000 over the last three completed financial years, have completed at least one relevant supply or food-related activity during the previous three years, and have at least one suitable vehicle available for contract performance. The successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee equal to 3% of the contract value excluding VAT before signing.
