Delivery and installation of furniture and kitchen equipment for a kindergarten in Plovdiv

Summary

The Yuzhen district of Plovdiv Municipality is procuring and installing furniture and kitchen equipment for a full-day kindergarten with six groups for children aged 3–6 at 47 Konstantin Gerov Street, Plovdiv. The procurement has two lots: Lot 1 covers 39 categories of furniture, including children’s beds, tables, chairs, storage, blinds and staff-room furnishings; Lot 2 covers 35 categories of professional kitchen furniture and equipment, including worktops, sinks, refrigeration, cooking appliances and dishwashing equipment. Bidders may apply for one or both lots. The work includes delivery into the rooms, on-site measurement, assembly and installation. Furniture must be levelled and secured against tipping, and its colours agreed in advance with the contracting authority. Kitchen equipment must be connected to the existing water and electrical services, function-tested, and accompanied by staff instruction. Delivery and installation must be completed within no more than 90 calendar days from receipt of the instruction to proceed, and the warranty must be at least 24 months. The estimated total value is EUR 301,507.15 excluding VAT: EUR 215,957.40 for Lot 1 and EUR 85,549.75 for Lot 2. Price accounts for up to 60 points and the proposed delivery period for up to 40 points. Funding had not been secured when the procedure opened. Contract performance starts only after the contracting authority confirms funding and issues the instruction to proceed; the contractor must then provide a performance guarantee equal to 5% of the relevant lot’s contract value excluding VAT. If funding is still unavailable after three months, either party may request termination; after ten months, the contract is considered terminated. No advance payment is made: the full price is paid once, within 30 days after acceptance of the complete delivery and installation and receipt of the original invoice.
