The tender concerns the regeneration of the Gzira Pumping Station and surrounding grounds in an environmentally friendly manner for the Water Services Corporation. The project includes the rehabilitation of the Main Building and the reconfiguration of parts of this building to accommodate the Local Council offices and other multipurpose spaces, and the upgrading of the pumping station's facilities. As part of the site, the existing formal garden between the Main Building and the Rue d’Argens boundary wall will be restored and retained, while the remainder of the site will be reconfigured into a public garden open to the community, providing a green enclave.
