Supply of de-icing salt for national and provincial roads in Central Macedonia, 2026–2030

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of approximately 12,350 tonnes of de-icing salt for snow and ice clearance on the national and provincial road network of the Central Macedonia region. Deliveries will be made in stages following written orders to snow-clearing stations and warehouses in the seven regional units of Thessaloniki, Imathia, Kilkis, Pella, Pieria, Serres and Chalkidiki. The supplier is responsible for transport and its costs. The supply covers the winter periods from 2026–2027 through 2029–2030, until 31 December 2030. The estimated contract value is EUR 1,194,689.60 excluding VAT. The contracting authority may additionally purchase up to 3,369.60 tonnes for an estimated EUR 256,089.60 excluding VAT under the option. Price is the only award criterion, based on the lowest price per tonne excluding VAT. Tenders must be submitted electronically by 30 October 2026 at 15:00. A 2% tender guarantee and, upon contract signature, a 4% performance guarantee are required.
