Optimization and electrification of the České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí railway line and signaling equipment installation

Summary

The tender concerns the reconstruction and electrification of the České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí railway line and the installation of signaling equipment. The objective is a full reconstruction and electrification that will increase line speed and safety and reduce operating costs. The contract is divided into three lots: Infrastructure, Power/Electrification, and Signaling equipment installation. Works include track and substructure reconstruction, new platforms at 550 mm above the rail, AC 25kV 50 Hz overhead line, NN and VN power supplies, new communications cabling (and related systems) and signaling equipment. The project is financed by the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure; the maximum total bid price excluding VAT is CZK 1,030,636,569. Price is the only award criterion. The bid submission deadline is 2026-10-07 13:00 CET; Tender validity period is 7 months. Bids must be submitted electronically; a tender guarantee of CZK 14,000,000 is required.
