Construction of Section 2 of the Coolock–Clontarf Active Travel Scheme: Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue

Summary

The contract covers construction works for a 2.6 km active travel route between Gracefield Road and Vernon Avenue in Dublin. The works include protected cycle lanes in both directions, upgraded footways and junctions, carriageway reconfiguration, pavement, kerb and footway works, traffic islands, public lighting, signs and road markings, drainage, traffic signals and ducting, utility works, landscaping, bike stands and temporary traffic management. Seven signal-controlled junctions will be upgraded to improve facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
