Comprehensive rehabilitation of the Remagen–Mainz rail corridor

Summary

The tender concerns comprehensive rehabilitation of the left-bank Rhine railway line between Remagen and Mainz, covering approximately 130 km between the specified sections of lines 2630 and 3510. The works include renewing around 81 km of track, 102 turnouts and the overhead line; constructing three overtaking tracks; adapting or building around 13 points-heating systems; rehabilitating the Bank, Bett and Kammereck tunnels; upgrading 25 stations; and constructing five bridges, various culverts and retaining structures.
